At Indian Translators we have various career opportunities for all candidates whether they are young, inexperienced and aspiring or well settled in their professions. We aim at quality work which need not be bounded with experience. There are more important things to be considered when high quality is the question. We judge the candidates by their attitude and aptitude towards life and work. Those who satisfy us of being competent are then selected for the jobs we get.

It is an important thing to mention that besides these another point to be considered is pricing. We offer our services for a price which is one of the most competent in the market. Thus it is important for us to pay equally suited amount to our personnel. This doesn't mean that we pay less but this does mean we pay right. Please remember this while filling rates.

We would like you to mention any specific detail which might give you an upper hand in your field. You have to send us a copy of your certificates as a proof of your knowledge. We want only those candidates who give us the true information about their qualifications. Any letters of previous experience are also helpful in selection of candidates.

We will send two sample texts of 100 words each to be translated by the candidate. Those who are up to our satisfaction are then selected to get work from us as and when we get it. It would be right place to mention that we are not taking any guarantees what so ever to give you the job, it totally depends as to how much work we get and whom we choose to send the work to. We can give it to anyone who we consider good for the project.

For Translators

You should be able to translate technical information (hard copy, software and online documentation) to and from you native language in client-specified DTP software or MS Word. Check translations for accuracy, compliance with client style and terminology, as well as correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Assamese, Bengali / Bangla, Farsi, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu

International Languages

Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Japanese, Korean, Thai.

Plus Points (not essential):

• College education in native country.
• Strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
• Prefer previous experience in multilingual computer environments.
• Knowledge of computer assisted translation tools.

For Interpreters/Linguists

Currently, we are only focused on interpreters based in India.

You should be able to interpret and provide communication between two people speaking different languages. Make them understand each other. Same languages as above.

Plus Points (not essential):

• Native speaker of target language.
• Translation experience.
• College degree from native country.
• Excellent language skills in native language and good English language skills.
• Familiarity with IME Asian Windows features (where applicable).
• Working knowledge of technical terminology in multiple domains.
• Knowledge of computer-assisted translation tools.
• Able to work a minimum of 20 hrs. a week M-F from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
